Jungle Hideaway, the enviromental musical for kids, will have its world premiere season next year in Singapore.
The stage musical will run at the Gateway theatre from August 20 to Spetember 10, 2018. Developed by Palm Beach Pictures and MindChamps Media, Jungle Hideaway will be directed by Aubrey Mellor who directed workshops of the show conducted at LaSalle College of the Arts with their Musical Theatre students.
The 60 minute show, aimed at the 9 years and under audience is produced by David Chiem and David Elfick. Jungle Hideaway was written by David Elfick with music and lyrics by Peter Dasent, Arthur Basting and YunYu Ong.
Twelve songs will feature, performed by such interesting characters as Cam the Chameleon, Toothie the Tiger and Monkeys Naughty and Nancy.
The premiere season will be filmed for release on television and DVD.
