TWO FISTS ONE HEART STAR ROCKS THE HOUSE
Last night saw Brisbane’s Basement and Bar 388 packed as local band OP25 featuring Daniel Amalm
play their first public set. Publicity through facebook brought the fans in as Amalm has quite a following after his devastating performance in the first series of UNDERBELLY.
Amalm plays the lead in the new Australian movie TWO FISTS ONE HEART which opens throughout Australia on March 19th. The OP25 track LIKE NO OTHER is on the soon to be released soundtrack album of the film which also features TZU, TIM MINCHIN ,ESKIMO JOE and DAVID BRIDIE.
Signed movie posters and tickets to the movie were given away on the night which really made the fans happy, but it was the set by OP25 that was the evening’s highlight. With Daniel on lead guitar and vocal the driving sound of the band got the thumbs up from the fans. A booking agent, who went to the gig, immediately signed OP25 for the upcoming Caxton Festival where they will perform on the main stage.
