When precocious Australian schoolboy Tommy is unexpectedly teleported into the heart of the Malaysian jungle he begins a journey that will change his views of technology and progress. Begrudgingly rescued by Malay girl Asura, Tommy is forced to join her quest to find the Pelangi bird, thought to be extinct.
